About the Role
Panchshil Realty is seeking an experienced MEP HVAC Design Manager to lead the end-to-end design, review, and coordination of HVAC systems across a wide portfolio of high-end real estate and data centre projects. This leadership role demands strong technical knowledge, project management expertise, and the ability to mentor teams while ensuring efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective HVAC design solutions aligned with Panchshil’s design excellence standards.
What You Will Do
Design Leadership
- Lead the concept-to-construction HVAC design process for multiple concurrent projects.
- Review and approve load calculations, equipment selections, BOQs, and system layouts.
- Ensure designs meet performance, sustainability, and safety standards in accordance with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC, and other applicable codes.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Manage and mentor a team of HVAC design engineers and draftsmen.
- Coordinate with internal design teams, project management, procurement, and site execution functions for design deliverables.
- Liaise with consultants, vendors, and external agencies to validate technical solutions and material specifications.
Innovation & Optimization
- Implement energy-efficient, sustainable design strategies in line with Panchshil’s green building initiatives.
- Lead value engineering exercises to achieve cost optimization without compromising design integrity.
- Review post-construction performance data to drive continuous improvement.
Data Centre Expertise (Preferred)
- Oversee design of precision cooling systems, redundancy configurations, and mission-critical HVAC for data centres.
- Coordinate with MEP, IT, and FM teams to ensure reliability and scalability of designs.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 10–15 years of experience in HVAC design, with strong exposure to commercial, residential, and data centre projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, HAP, Elite, Revit MEP, and design simulation tools.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and external consultants.
- Deep understanding of energy-efficient systems, green design principles, and modern HVAC technologies.
