Electrician

We are looking for a Trade Tested Electrician with strong experience in blow moulding and industrial manufacturing. The role focuses on electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and preventative maintenance to ensure reliable plant operations and minimise production downtime.

Job Description:

• Perform electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on blow moulding machinery and associated production equipment
• Maintain electrical reticulation, distribution systems, and plant utilities
• Diagnose and resolve electrical breakdowns to minimise production downtime
• Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance to identify potential faults
• Assist with new equipment installations, commissioning, and electrical modifications
• Complete maintenance records and job cards accurately
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability
• Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures and maintenance standards

Skills & Experience:

• 6–10 years’ total electrical maintenance experience in an industrial environment
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with blow moulding machinery and equipment
• Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with electrical reticulation, distribution, and industrial utilities
• Good understanding of preventative maintenance and plant safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
• Own reliable transport
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required
  

Qualifications:

• Matric
• Trade Tested Electrician with N3
